Silver Lake Seaquest State Park
Salutations! It's Meili here with another post from the road. Today I'll share our time at Silver Lake in Seaquest State Park Washington.
This lovely park is about one hour west of Mt Saint Helens with views of the mountain. The trail we took goes through the marsh area of the lake.
There was a boardwalk out over the marsh, which was full of lily pads. It looked very tempting, but my human wouldn't let me go in. She assured me I wouldn't like the water and the lily pads wouldn't hold me up. I thought she should have let me try, but NOOOO!
The views were beautiful and there were some lovely flowers, something my human especially likes.
I enjoyed climbing on things and walking on the walls. In true cat form, I like being up high, so any wall or railing is fair game to me. Anything to get me up higher. The views are better that way!
We didn't spend a lot of time at Silver Lake, but it was a very relaxing and beautiful walk. If you are ever in the area, I recommend Silver Lake and Seaquest State Park.
