Shonnard's Nursery and Florist

Greetings one and all! Hope you are having a great day. I am. Why? Because SPRING IS HERE! Or at least on its way.

That doesn't mean the rain is through in Oregon however. But it is slowing down.
There are still some days that we must get creative when planning our adventures. That is why my human and I took a trip to Shonnard's Nursery and Florist in Corvallis, Oregon.

Shonnard's is first and foremost a garden store and nursery. They have everything for your garden, from tools, like rakes and shovels, to bulbs, seeds,

lots of plants,

and even trees. So many options. And don't get me started on all the flowers.

Yum, these smell nice.

Plus you can get fountains and waterfalls for your garden.

Lots and lots of yard art.

Anyone could find something, no matter your taste.

We found bird baths, glass bells (so pretty),

               different animals

(though they wouldn't move or make noises. They even smelled odd. My human said it was because they were made of metal. I don't care what your heritage is, not acknowledging me was just plain rude!)

Even some funny signs.

They have one corner of the store devoted to bee keeping.

Pretty cool. While I don't want to mess with bees, they are important pollinators. Plus honey is sooooo sweet.

Shonnard's is also a florist, so they have cut flowers, potted house plants, and pots of all sizes. Of course my human wouldn't let me dig in the potted plants or even eat one. She can be such a kill joy sometimes.

They had a few things one wouldn't expect from a garden store. There were hand made quilts on display,

and lots of "scatter the pieces all over the house" games.

(My human calls these puzzles, but we know what they really are.) It was a nice visit and a lovely store. Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy.

All in all, a good day. I recommend you visit a nursery in your area just to enjoy the flowers if nothing else. And because St. Patrick's Day is this week:

May you blessings out number
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go! 🍀🍀🍀

Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day, and, as always, keep wandering my friends. Keep wandering.
